As is known already, the organization, Madhava Seva Samithi, is engaged in the mission of bringing comfort to the less than fortunate female children without normal protection and care. This is in line with the noble aim of women empowerment, protection, education, self sustainability. Specifically our effort is to provide these helpless members of our society, essential medical care, education support, roofs above their head realizing their dreams, and the like.
As a natural corollary to the children’s home, Madhavam, we are now taking up an after care home involving similar grown ups also-i.e. females above the age of 18, who are on the process of continuing education, awaiting, placements, and rehabilitation through matrimony etc. In parallel, a shelterhome is also envisaged, for caring early widowed mothers, offspring included, to enable them to become self dependent through multiple vocational/occupational training. This presentation is to appeal for your continued kind patronization of the new activities mentioned.
2. It may be recalled that Madhava Seva Samithi reg.no. A 863/2001 dated 19.12.2001 is a duly registered Charitable Society under Travancore Cochin Religious and Charitable Societies Act …. It consists of qualified and capable professionals from various walks of life-lawyers, engineers, retired government employees, etc. This collection of noble minded, selfless volunteers operating in a wholly rural, rustic environment with their focus as follows:1. To support the economically, physically weak by providing on education, medical care, marriage assistance, within our modest ability. 2. Madhavam Balika Sadanam, a home for destitute and deprived girl children has been successfully functioning on the said lines since May, 2003, to the great satisfaction of our kind patrons. To restate, the children receive free and fully satisfactory accommodation, food, essential requirements like clothing, schooling (to the highest level against merit), health care, cultural training , in full and happy family atmosphere. Till now, a satisfying number of its inmates have found their own steady living; as example five of them after reaching right age group, having passed Nursing qualifications, are employed as such, one a B.com is in a responsible job with a major Corporation. Out of those among the girls not in the category of independent careerists, three have been married of into respectable families and are now happily settled. Another five are currently Nursing studies, and another forty, are schooling, from 2nd standard to degree level.

Continuing our work , as legally required under the Juvenile Justice Act, under which Madhavam is registered, we are obliged to establish an After Care Home for girls above 18, where they will be provided with vocational/career training. Construction of the first portion of about 3000 sq.feet out of a planned 9000 sq ft built up space is progressing. Along with the same, provision is being made, for rehabilitation of orphaned /widowed mothers and their offspring also. It is our most humble objective to serve as a support instrument for serving the unfortunate needy female section of our society for a better, more comfortable life for them.
Madhava Seva Samithi (Reg .No.A 863/2001 dtd. 19.12.2001) is a Charitable Society under T.C.Religious and Charitable Societies Act of ……. Members of this society come from different walks of life, like Lawyers, Engineers, Teachers, Bankers, etc. interested in Charity work. We possess recognition certificates from Kerala Orphanage control board, Social Societies Board, Child Welfare Committees. We also enjoy Income Tax Exemption under Sec.80G.
a. A Child care Home for destitute and orphaned girls under the supervision of District Child Protection Officer and as per Juvenile Justice Act Norms. Provides better health, food, clothing, education, etc. Presently, we accommodate 40 children, schooling from Std.2, to Nursing .
b. An aftercare home for those above 18 yrs age and continuing their education, accommodated due to their lack of support and proper homes. We back them fully for finding employment, those who do not qualify for jobs enjoy our support for settling down through respectable marriages
c. The next project in progress: A Mothers Home -for which a building is under construction- to take in neglected and orphaned mothers and offspring with no place to go. Help extended for self sustenance through job training with high chances for a better future.
In support of the above noble activities, we solicit help and proper assistance from all people of goodwill and charitable mind.
1) Providing residential education/opportunities for self-reliance to destituted and deprived girls
2) Running a girl child care center (license no 68/2017 of the ministry of woman and children under JJ act)
3) Project under construction: To provide professional education to girls from child care centers and others (license from orphanage control board certificate no: 1416(A) )
4)Running a counseling center Punarjani, to mitigate the mental strain of rural people.(a separate building is under construction).
5) Providing all-out support to persons belonging BFI category for their medical treatment, education and housing needs ..etc
